3 Surefire steps to be BEACH Ready!

It's already the second week of January. The holiday "no diet" eating sessions are over (usually start last week of November and end the second week of January). The sessions are over but you know that "ghost" of holidays are hanging around your midsection. 

 

 

We're less than two months away from March and that simply means that you have less than two months to be BEACH Ready.

 

 

I'll go straight to the point, If you came here thinking that you'll find a silver bullet, a magic pill, a ritual, or a genie even that would give you the washboard abs that you can easily flaunt once beach season starts, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you came to the wrong place.

 

but hold on.... don't fret my friend

 

If you're the type of person who is willing to invest the time and effort when you want to achieve your goals then let's get started!

 

First of all, you have to accept the fact that getting your ideal beach body requires DISCIPLINE, DETERMINATION, and LIFESTYLE IMPROVEMENTS. That's why you must have a reason when you begin this journey. It doesn't have to be so deep. A simple reason like "you want to look good to have the confidence to flirt" or something to that extent would suffice.

 

That brings us to step 1

 

1) Understand your WHY!

 

 

 You're in for the long haul my friend. To earn your ideal body requires the "big C", yes you've read it right, it requires COMMITMENT. 

 

The physical situation you're in right now is the result of your lifestyle. 

 

To get where we want to go then we need to change to the direction that would lead us to our desired destination.

 

Pause for a while and reflect. Close your eyes and think why you want to start this journey towards a better version of yourself?

If you're ready to take the plunge then let's move on to step 2

 

2) Develop the HABIT!

 

 

This is what I need you to do right NOW!

 

1 Push - up

1 Jumping Jack

1 Burpee

That's all you need to do to START!

 

Our goal for Week 1 is for you to DEVELOP the HABIT first. Don't think about the insane sweaty sessions first. We'll get to that as we go along. 

 

For now, we need to introduce your BODY and your MIND to the UPGRADES that we are making.

 

NOW it's time to talk to the inner YOU! 

 

Tell this to her/him

 

"I'm taking charge NOW! This would be different because I'll do it in a SUSTAINABLE Way!"

 

that brings us to step 3

 

3) DECIDE on what's SUSTAINABLE for you

 

 

According to recent studies, 15 - 30 minutes of exercise is optimal for our health.

 

But like what I've said, you have to DECIDE what's right for you right now. If you can't commit 15 minutes yet then let's start with 10 or 5 minutes even.

 

Our initial goal is for you to Develop the Habit first. We can easily scale our duration and intensity after we've established our foundation.

 

You did 3 simple exercises a while ago. No fancy pieces of equipment, no gym membership required. For tomorrow and the rest of week 1, that's all you need to do

 

1 Push - up

1 Jumping Jack

1 Burpee 

 

This would be your day 1, and the rest of week 1 is 7 days including this day. 

 

For example, you started Jan. 14, 2020 then you're week 1 is from Jan 14 - 20, 2020.

 

For week 2, let's increase our repetition.

 

Let's do 2 reps for each exercise

 

2 Push - up

2 Jumping Jack

2 Burpee 

 

That's it! Remember our first goal is for you to DEVELOP the HABIT first.

 

Keep increasing the repetitions as you go from week to week. That would be 3 reps for each exercise for week 3, 4 reps each for week 4 and so on.

The SIMPLE steps I've shared above won't get you the BEACH Body that you want but it will help you become BEACH Ready because you know that you've taken the steps toward a BETTER version of you!

 

The purpose of this article was to give you a jump START and the CONSISTENCY you will put in will help you EARN that Beach Body, not this year but definitely next year and moving forward.
